This group began in 1991 as a three year pilot program of the Massachusetts Audubon Society with the vision of an integrated education program combining farming, environment, social issues, and enterprise. In the fall of 1994,foodproj.jpg (12551 bytes) due to expanded size, The Food Project became an independent nonprofit organization.

On a summer's day you will find our youth crews pulling weeds from tomato and other vegetable crops in Lincoln, on a large field at the corner of Baker Bridge and Concord Roads.
