The CoA is responsible for identifying and meeting the needs of Lincoln's citizens over
the age of 60. It offers services and information to help residents remain
independent, and it acts as an advocate for individuals in crisis.
The monthly newsletter of the CoA publicizes its schedule of lectures, trips and social
events. It coordinates the local Meals on Wheels program and recruits the volunteers
that make the program possible. The program is administered by a full-time director
and an assistant and a twelve-person, Selectmen-appointed board.
